Alternative Visions at Gallery 688

Graduate Alumni of the School of Photography

March 1 – March 29, 2012

This March 688 Gallery will display a collective exhibition of photographic works.   Presented by all Graduate Alumni of Photography of the Academy of Art University, Alternative Visions focuses on alternative, experimental and antiquated photographic processes.  Some of these include toned cyanotype, hand-colored cyanotype, salt prints, palladium prints, polaroid transfers, and archival pigment prints.

Including work by: Rus Anson, Michele Cole, Rheana Gardner, Yun-Ching (Anna) Han, Yi-Chen (Sherry) Huang, Renee Peck, and Echo Xu, these photographers are also members of the SPE, the Society for Photographic Education.  The SPE is set to have a national conference in San Francisco during the end of March; we are thrilled that Alternative Visions will coincide during this time.
