Xiau-Fong Wee

Xiau-Fong Wee is an artist working within a broad spectrum of subject matter.  Featured this month at the Atelier Gallery is work from her Concrete series.  Finding inspiration within the beauty of the urban environment, she brings to light the vitality of the San Francisco street scene, connecting the unknown with the familiar to create an altered view of aesthetics.

After acquiring her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Academy of Art University, Xiau-Fong continues to live and work in San Francisco.  She works in oil and acrylic paints, as well as charcoal.
