The Atelier space at 79 New Montgomery, is a retail environment that showcases the creativity and talent of students and alumni from a range of artistic disciplines. While the walls function as a traditional gallery space, the floor is reserved for textiles, garments created by academy alumni, jewelery, and a range of books from academy graduated artists.
The space is constantly in flux. Events, merchandise, and featured artists share Atelier throughout the year. Opened in the winter of 2011, the Atelier is still a new space, and has yet to find a limit to what it has to offer the San Francisco community.
